My
adventure with tango began during a vacation in the beautiful and picturesque
Bergamo, where I saw people dancing tango.
I like to
be close to dancing couples to feel the emotions between them, to capture their
smiles, gestures, and embraces.
Close to my
heart is a quote about photography by Don McCullin: “Photography is not about
seeing, it's about feeling. If you don't feel anything in what you see, you
will never be able to make people feel anything when they look at your photos.”
Because, as
Henri Cartier-Bresson said, “To photograph is to hold one's breath, mobilizing
all one's faculties in the face of a fleeting reality.”
Photography allows me to express my sensitivity to the world and capture fleeting moments in a frame.
